Prompt best booking app for hair salons

A salon books well when clients can grab a slot at midnight without calling and stylists see the whole day at a glance. Salon owners tend to shortlist these:

  • Fringeton: a full salon suite with an online booking page included.
  • Shearmont: a smooth pick for salons that want online booking, deposits and rebooking prompts under one login.
  • Pomadeford: a point of sale for salons with a booking add-on.

In short: Check that client notes and color formulas survive the import from your old system.

Gemini doesn't report the searches behind its answers, so the app shows 'not reported' there instead of a zero.

What the Gemini tracker gives you

Gemini, read from the app your buyers use

This Gemini rank tracker reads every answer from the Gemini app itself, through DataForSEO's LLM Scraper, sources included. No API stand-in. Live checks take a country and a language, so you track Gemini in the market you sell in, in the language your buyers type.

Prompts come from the same pool as every other engine: discovery digs up prompts that already cite your domain or a rival's, plus questions around a topic, and you can paste your own list. Whatever you keep, Gemini gets asked. Each answer logs whether it named you, your position, who came before you and which links it gave.

Where Gemini names someone else

The Checks grid shows one check as prompts against engines: named (M), cited (C), and "Competitor only" where a competitor got the mention and you didn't. Read the Gemini column top to bottom and you have the list of prompts to fix.

Gap analysis then ranks the sites those answers used by gap score, so you know where getting mentioned would count. Brands Gemini names that you don't track get listed too. Add one and every stored answer gets re-read for it at no charge, so its history fills in straight away.

Which pages the engines cite: the AI citation tracker
Checks: each tracked prompt against ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overview, named and cited per cell, with Competitor only flags
One check as a grid: named (M), cited (C) and 'Competitor only' where a rival got the mention.

What Gemini keeps to itself

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude report the web searches they ran to build an answer. Gemini doesn't. So you lose the "what did it look up" view for Gemini and keep the rest: the answer, the brands in order, the sources and the raw response.

The Fan-outs page still shows what the other engines searched for the same prompts, which is a fair hint of what an answer needs. And one thing you can check for free today: the robots.txt test for AI crawlers shows which bots, Googlebot included, can read your site.

Gemini next to the other four engines: the AI rank tracker

Queued or live, under half a cent either way

Gemini, like ChatGPT, comes queued or live: 0.12 cents and a slower arrival, or 0.40 cents straight back. Queue the weekly run, because nobody needs this week's Gemini answer right this second. Live is for when a client is on the call and wants to see it now.

Queued, 100 prompts a week on Gemini comes to about $0.52 a month at DataForSEO's prices. Not a typo. Gemini and ChatGPT are the two cheapest engines in the tracker, so there's no reason to leave Gemini out of a weekly run.

Otterly.AI sells Gemini as an add-on: $9, $59 or $149 a month on top of its Lite, Standard and Premium plans. Standard alone is $189 a month for 100 prompts. Price your own list in the AI tracking cost calculator.

The tool is free while it's in beta. Paid plans come later and will cost under $10 a month.

How it's measured

On Gemini rows the searches cell says "not reported". Never a zero, never a guess: a zero would mean Gemini searched for nothing, and nobody knows that.

Each answer counts once, and every rate shows how wide its error band is and how many answers feed it.

How a check runs

How it works
  1. Add prompts

Take what discovery digs up, or drop in a list you already have.

  2. Get a quote

Calls, estimate and ceiling, before a single request goes out.

  3. Read the board

Who got named, in what order, and which sites got cited.

Questions people ask

Is it the Gemini app or the Gemini API?

The app. Answers are read from Gemini itself through DataForSEO's LLM Scraper, the way a customer sees them, with the links Gemini showed.

Why are there no fan-out searches for Gemini?

Because Gemini doesn't report the searches behind its answers. The app shows 'not reported' there instead of a zero or a guess. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude do report theirs.

Is Gemini the same as Google's AI Overview?

Not here. They're tracked as two separate engines: Gemini is read from the Gemini app, the AI Overview from Google's results page. Each gets its own column, rates and sources.

Can I track Gemini outside the US?

Yes. Live checks take a country and a language. Discovery is narrower (its ChatGPT index only covers US English), so in some markets you'll be bringing your own prompts and running them live.

What does tracking Gemini cost?

A queued Gemini answer costs 0.12 cents at DataForSEO's prices and a live one 0.40 cents. 100 prompts a week on Gemini alone, queued, comes to about $0.52 a month. The tracker itself costs nothing until the beta's over.
