Prompt best booking app for hair salons

A salon books well when clients can grab a slot at midnight without calling and stylists see the whole day at a glance. Salon owners tend to shortlist these:

Shortlist

  1. Shearmont - a smooth pick for salons that want online booking, deposits and rebooking prompts under one login.
  2. Fringeton - very complete, but setup takes weeks and the monthly bill grows with every stylist.

Tip: Check that client notes and color formulas survive the import from your old system.

What you get for every prompt

"Rank" means something else in ChatGPT

There's no page two in ChatGPT: a short list of brands in some order, a few source links, and that's it. Your rank is your spot on that list, if you made it at all.

So for every prompt you track, this ChatGPT rank tracker logs whether ChatGPT named you, at what position, who it put ahead of you and whether it linked your site (the links feed the AI citation tracker). That's the whole game. Everything else is decoration.

Read from the app, not an API pretending to be it

ChatGPT is checked through DataForSEO's LLM Scraper, which reads the answer from ChatGPT itself, web search and sources included.

Each answer also comes with the searches ChatGPT ran to build it. That list tells you what to write and where to get mentioned, which beats guessing from a keyword tool.

Block OAI-SearchBot or ChatGPT-User and ChatGPT can't read your page while it answers. The free AI crawler test shows who gets in.

Rank over time, without lying to yourself

ChatGPT answers wobble: ask twice and the list reshuffles. So every check is saved with its date. Put this week next to last week, or next to day one, and see each prompt you picked up or dropped.

What it costs

You pay DataForSEO's prices per answer, nothing on top. Queue 100 prompts a week on ChatGPT alone and it's about $0.52 a month. Peec AI starts at $95 a month for 50 prompts. I'll let you do the maths, or the AI tracking cost calculator will, with your own prompt count.

The tool is free while it's in beta. Paid plans come later and will cost under $10 a month.

How it's measured

Each answer counts once, and every rate comes with an error band and a count of the answers behind it. Small moves get greyed out as plain noise instead of being dressed up as a win or a loss.

How a check runs

How it works
  1. Add prompts

Take what discovery digs up, or drop in a list you already have.

  2. Get a quote

Calls, estimate and ceiling, before a single request goes out.

  3. Read the board

Who got named, in what order, and which sites got cited.

Questions people ask

Is this the real ChatGPT or the API?

The real one. Answers are read from ChatGPT itself through DataForSEO's LLM Scraper, with web search and sources, the way a customer sees them. That's also why you get the searches ChatGPT ran behind each answer.

Does ChatGPT give the same answer every time?

Nope, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. So every rate ships with a likely range and the answer count it's built on, and every check is saved with its date so you can put any two side by side.

Can I track ChatGPT for a specific country?

Yes. Every live check takes a country and a language. Discovery is the catch: its ChatGPT index is US English only, so outside that you bring your own prompts and run them live.

How often should I check?

Weekly does the job for most sites. Want it on autopilot? The re-checks module reruns a check daily, weekly or monthly, capped at a spend you approve. It stays off until you turn it on.

What does tracking ChatGPT cost?

A queued answer costs 0.12 cents at DataForSEO's prices and a live one 0.4 cents. 100 prompts a week on ChatGPT alone, queued, comes to about $0.52 a month. The software is free while the beta lasts.
